Group member cannot build on group land - what could be the cause?

Hi, we have some group land where creating is restricted to group, but one of our group members still cannot build here. I have checked all the group and land settings but couldn't find a possible cause. We tried relogging, leaving and rejoining the group, regular and FL viewer ... no avail. Any ideas what else to try?

Perhaps an obvious question, but the member in question does have the correct group active right? It's not enough to merely belong to the group, one has to have the correct group as their active one in order to take advantage of group-only functions.

hehe, yes that was the first thing I checked.

Check to make sure the role he/she is assigned has building on group land enabled.

Conversely, Just because the blue Build button is off doesn't mean a group member can't build. Have them right click any prim on the land and select Edit to get the build menu to come up, then have them select Create and start building away.

There seems to be a bug that the Build button doesn't get lit up even if you are in a group that can build on the land. You can still directly edit objects by right-clicking on them and selecting Edit, as mentioned above, or you can go to your Tools menu and select "Select tool" -> "Create".
