If anyone's in the mood for archiving parts of the forum, perhaps you might consider the members list.

The forum member list is perhaps the only place where the avatar names of some members of SL are recorded and available for public viewing, particularly the earliest residents.

I archived some stuff down in the content creation forums. I just don't trust them to allow us to get back there for some definitive answers.

This produces a list of forum members sorted by joindate.

http://forums.secondlife.com/memberlist.php?pp=0&sort=joindate&order=asc

TestMiller Linden and Michael Havoc show up first, with pages and pages of others with the bogus join date of 12 - 31 - 69.

The first non-bogus join date is for Steller Sunshine, join date of 03-13-2002
/invalid_link.html .

Steller is also reported to be SL's first non-Linden member.

This allows you to select the page you want to look at by page number:

You can probably fiddle with adding parameters to the various parameters in the above to get various results.
