help please

I am a newbir to this secondlife thing and im trying to upgrade my account to premium with a paypal account, but it keeps coming up with errors when i try to pay with it. Plus i want to buy $L money and it wont let me do that either, am i missing something, do i have to have money in my paypal account in order to make a payment to secondlife or does it except echecks. PLEASE HELP IM SO LOST AND CANT DO ANY UPGRADING TO MY ACCOUNT.

Hi Starling, you might start by logging on to the Support Portal and searching for information on PayPal. There are a number of articles there that explain why a PayPal payment might not work.

Also be aware, though, that some people are still having problems with PayPal at the moment due to some kind of bug in the system. Still, you should read the Support information because your problem might be fixable.

Yeah, may there are some problems with it, but you can try that. Is your paypal account fund by a bankaccount or a creditcard?

First step you need to know, that your paypal account must be verified. After that is done and your paypal is funded by a bankaccount you should have money on it cause LL might take it away directly by your purchase.

As i started in SL i had same problems with paypal and LL. If you have money on your paypal and it doesnt work, try to cancel your billing agreement at paypal account and reset your billing information here. I did it sometimes until it worked.

Last but not least you should have a look for your tradinglimits too. But therefore you will get a separate message if your purchase run into your tradinglimits .)

Does your PayPal account tie up with a Credit Card or a Bank Account. I'm pretty sure - but not certain - that only PayPal connected to Bank Accounts are accepted. I could of course be totally wrong, but I'm sure I read somewhere when I joind that this was the case.
