Every Tuesday I go into SL, check my in world transaction history under "details" to see if I got my stipend, I do so with my husband's account also since he is basic. Both accounts now when I bring up the history it says "computing...." and it never changes from that.

Is this now a broken feature? How can I check to see if I got my stipend? Should I bug report this?(no I don't know what my $L balance was yesterday)

Not sure about checking inworld since I don't usually do that, but through the website, if you go to your account, then look on the far right side of the screen, click transactions history, you should be able to see it in there.

Musicteacher, the Account History feature in the client is no longer available. You must use the transaction history under My Account on the web site. Linden Lab told us the in-world Account History feature was putting a lot of demand on the database and has removed it server-side. I believe the next version of the client will either remove it from the menu, or bring up a browser window instead.

It is not clear to me why the web site puts less demand on the database, or why the in-world version could not use a web service that puts exactly the same demand on the database.

I think they are simply trying to get as much load off the grid as possible.

Does it show https://secure-web1.secondlife.com/account/transactions.php in the address bar?

If not, that's not your inworld transactions.
