If nobody has named them, I suggest PangeA and PangeB as the two mainland contenents...

I'm pretty sure they have names, but I can't tell you what they are off the top of my head.

I know the second one added was called Atoll at the time. Not sure if anyone still calls it that. I know the original continent also had a name, but I can't remember it.

Well, think about it, if those words weren't already being used they'd make quite good fantasy-sounding words, wouldn't they? "Conan the Scrotuniam" _____________________

So true. I might suggest "Scrotum the barbarian from the savage land of Diarrhea". _____________________

The continents do not in fact have specific names but there are macro-regional names. You should be able to find them on the History Wiki.

If you like, go to Caledon Highlands telehub and at the Academy there, upstairs on the second floor is Dyne Talamasca's Map of the Known Grid upstairs.
Continents, major features and so forth are named, including some historic areas of interest that in spite of their smaller size, are well worth knowing. It is from April 2006. If you want to see how explosively the grid has developed in a mere 8 months, take a look. Caledon itself went from 3 sims to 14 in that time; the Otherland Archipelago grew far more than we did, Dreamland I hesitate to speculate (huge!) and the rest of the grid filled up like a bag of popcorn in the microwave. Here's a snap of the map! ... http://www.sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=65629&sort=Pictures.PictureID+desc&Search=dyne _____________________

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

I just had a look and the map is at Caledon Highlands 187, 218, 49 The three continent names from N to S are: Heteocera Atoll Sansara Jeogeot Does not say where those names originated from though. |
