What's the best non SL-sponsored forum for Second Life questions? I don't want to be off-topic and there's no General container here.

InSL u find every kind of no-life retard you could possibly imagine as well as a few even Tim Burton couldnt imagine u find 12yr-olds claiming to be 40 men claiming 2 be women, women claiming 2 make sense and every1 claiming 2 have ideas that are actually worth a damn if only someone would just listen to their unique innovative and exceptionally important idea

Second Citizen. Probably the busiest of them all, happens to be a very good news source and has plenty of well known oldbies in its userbase.

Second Citizen if U want to go in as your SL self like on here, or SL Universe if you want your RL to have a say! But I stay on here mostly as I'm an LLL (Linden Lab Loyalist .....crawl, crawl) and you also get some nastier posts on the other sites.

Kind of a loaded question. In real terms, every forum is a ghost town.

I've been on shared-interest forums that run to the tens of thousands concurrently online.

With up to 50k concurrency in-world now, an SL forum with 177 active users (131 not contributing, just scouring it for drama) really is a Ghost Town in "real terms" to me. I'm not knocking it, just saying that there isn't really a big forum scene for SL out there right now.

Sorry Ace. My responses are sometimes a bit forthright and no matter how I work on that, I always have a relapse now and then. ;) I know you weren't knocking that site. I'm not even a regular there so have no reason to defend it. I just think it can be a better source of news than people seem to think. I suspect that explains the sheer quantity of lurkers too. :)

Second Citizen is ok......but, it's kinda like a soap, it's more fun when you know the main cast of characters. A lot of the replies to posts are not interesting, just one liners. However, you can name names, which is useful, and the people there are quite knowledgeable.

I find Resident Answers to be more on topic..........

Which is no doubt why Strife keeps locking any thread that starts getting into an interesting discussion.
