Hey guys,

Hoping this is the forum to ask in..

Since the new update.. my avie, and everyone elses has looked like the picture at the bottom of the post.

Strange spikes on the upper arms near atttachment points, as well as upper thighs.
I'm also unable to target my avatar in order to get the radial menu, change clothing via the menu or change my group settings. I click myself, and end up clicking an object behind the avie.. I can't target others avies either unless I target a prim they are wearing, such as hair.
What gives? should I just re-download the new release and hope it works better?

Erielle

Try this... in the menu go to "Edit"... "Preferences"... "Graphics Detail" and set your Avatar Rendering to Normal.

Also... try unchecking "Avatar Vertex Program"

Erielle, there is a bug logged in JIRA for this issue. My satellite connection is really slow right now, and I can't find the bug. I'll post it here for you when I do. In the mean time, try clearing your cache (in the Network tab of Preferences) and see if that helps at all.

As for not being able to click other avatars, I had that happen just once. If I remember correctly my connection to SL had dropped. Relogging fixed it, of course.
