 Ok. i will save you a long story. Short story, looking for a lost object, dragged a big nox around an area where i was building to show my objects, didn't see it, MEANT to delete the item in from of me, deleted everything that was highlighted. Mostly building junk, but 1 pretty expensive item. Any way to undo this???

Look in your Trash

Things you delete normally end up in your Trash folder. They're not actually gone forever until you empty your trash. You should also check the Lost and Found folder; occasionally things end up there.

It will be in your trash in inventory. Sort by date and it will be at the top of the list, with an icon that looks like a stack of cubes. The name will be one of the things that was multi-selected.

Drag that item back to the ground, and it will all re-rez, Then you'll likely have to re-position stuff.

I am looking in the trash and don't see it. Maybe it takes a minute? I'll go check lost and found.

It will not be called the same as the item you lost, it's probably going to show as Object or some other non-descript. It the items is really that valuable, you should rezz everything in your Trash folder until you find that puppy...

lol. well, there isn't much in my trash folder bc/ I was just inventory cleaning this morning, but it is still not showing. Other things I rez and delete show, but the objects from the highlighted box are still not there. Mostly I lost just junk I was building, but there was one object that was 1500L$ that the creator tweaked for me. Bummer.

Maybe it will all magically appear when I relog, but I'm not holding my breathe. *sign* live and learn. All in all could have been *much* worse.

Thanks all

You may not be able to search for it. If you deleted multiple objects at one time, then it may be grouped under the name of another object you deleted. You should check for objects with an icon that looks like the regular object icon but split into pieces, and rez those.
