According to this blog entry http://blog.secondlife.com/2007/01/16/minor-delay-in-processing-account-credits/ LL has stated they did a redesign to process checks for payments, making the system faster From: someone LindeX checks that were requested in the past few days and for the next few days may take a bit longer than usual. We are in the process of upgrading our back end system to automate this process and speed it up. During the transition, however, we’ve had to put a temporary hold on check requests. Everything should be back to normal next week. However, ever since that, the checks are taking even longer, usually 2 weeks longer than they used to. Anyone else having similar issues with check payments, or even paypal payments? |

yes quite a few have posted in recent weeks. I (unlike otheres) have never had any trouble with paypal. |

Folks on Second Citizen are reporting checks taking forever.

they are... mine just went processed today, 15 days for one, 10 days for the other... when I used to get then delivered and cashed within 10
apparently the new system is similar to a personal bank accounts "online bill pay" system, checks are only cut once a week on Fridays now, instead of any day of the week... and it seems they dont turn to "processed" until you email and bitch
