Cannot login: The server is logging you out

I was playing earlier today when the sim I went into crashed on me. A minute later I attempt to log in and get the message "The server is logging you out. Your account is unavailable until [5 minutes from that time]". So, being patient I decided to wait 5 minutes, even more than 5 minutes. Tried again... same error, except 5 minutes from THAT time. So, I went to the knowledge base and looked up the error, told me to wait 15 minutes. I waited 30. Same thing yet again. I checked my email and the police blotter, and there was no notice of any suspension (even though I did nothing). Why is this happening? =-(

From the nature of the message you have been given, I'm not sure it would make a difference, but have you tried to connect to a different sim?

My friend just told me that I am still logged in. He is sending me IM's and everything, the crash must have hit me really hard or something.

Oh, there was someone else posting in the forums with a similar problem a couple of days ago, I'm not sure what to suggest other than get in touch with LL :/

Does your friend know if it is just a 'phantom avatar' or not? If not, if there is a damage enabled area nearby your friend can shunt you into, they can put you out of your misery

It has been fixed now, thank you very much Nigel Linden for kicking my 'ghost' out of the sim. =-)
