I own a sim and cannot edit my terrain??

Ok, i was able to when i first got my SIM edit terrain. All is good, on and on... now i need to do some terreforming, and I CANT! my friend can, i group owned the SIM but i can not? i have doubled checked everything? any suggestions???? looks like someone else edit the terratrin and mad e ahill and i need to flatten it?

any help would be helpful.

Make sure you have the edit terrain option active in Estate tools and in parcel settings. It has to be checked in both places. Even if you own it, you have to set the estate and parcel level controls to allow terraforming.
