Hi everyone,
So last thursday, I made a deal to purchase an island with another resident. He told me (and I've known him for a little while) that it would take 2 days (as he was told by LL) to complete the transfer. We arranged the deal early thursday morning, and both sent emails to LL. I then paid him in Lindens. So, I waited till Monday, and still no word from LL about the transfer. I emailed them once to try and get some sort of update, went to in world help and they told me it could take weeks. The website here tells me it takes 5 days.

Am I missing something? What is the average time to transfer land, and how can I even be sure that the transfer has begun? I've tried contacting support, but I feel like I'm emailing a bot.

I was just hoping some other residents could ease my troubles and let me know what their average wait for and island transfer is.

Thank you!

The last Island my wife aquired took over a week and LL kept saying they could not find the emails. Just stick with it and if you have no results after 5 days start hitting up support.

Like everything else these days in SL, it's whenever the Lindens d*mn well feels like it. However, my experience is that LL works as a beaurocracy. The squeeky wheel gets the oil. Call any time during their business hours to 'Check Up' on the status of the transfer. Be professional, but also let them know how important this is to you. That works best for me.

Thank you for those replys!

I was going a little stir crazy there. Thank you for letting me know that I'm not alone in this feeling.
