if one of your inventory folders has been cleared can you get it back and how?

Depends on how it was cleared. Did you take it out of your inventory and rez it and it was lost? Or did you delete it?

Check your lost and found folder, trash folder, etc. Some things have been coming back to the L&F as a bundle, so check everything in there that might even remotely have been rezzed at or near the same time/place.

If you tried to rez it and it failed, but did not turn up in your inventory anywhere, send a bug report to LL. You probably won't get it back, but they (from my understanding) are dealing with the asset loss issue somehow.

If you make an outfit the items worn in the outfit will move from thier original folder and will live in the outfit folder.

But what if I use that item in different outfits?
Will the outfit where the item disappeared not be incomplete?

I'm a newby trying to figure out how to organize my inventory, but not yet understanding the fine points...

Your advice wil be welcome and appreciated.

If the items you're using in outfits are No-Copy, then they will be moved to new outfit folders, not copied, leaving the old folders with items missing.

Thanks Ace, that explains why, whenever I change outfit, I lose my (non copy) penis.
