Recently i have losts two expensive items from my inventory. (one was whole folder!)

and i cant seem to find anyway of letting linden know or get some answers for this. Its extremely annoying when you pay for a service that loses your belongings.

Thanks

Best bet would be to contact the creators and see if they're willing to replace your lost items. They're certainly under no obligation to do so, but a lot of them are sympathetic to "SL ate my (fill in the blank)!" issues.

Theoretically, you could log into the Support Portal on the Support page and submit a ticket, but I can almost guarantee that it will do no good...LL doesn't take responsibility for lost inventory. I'm also pretty sure that's not on the 'approved' list of complaints Basic members are allowed to have, so I wouldn't even bother if you're not Premium.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Basically they provide a data storage service which isn't obligated to store your data. Gives you all sorts of warm confidence, doesn't it? :p Sorry you lost stuff you paid real money for. Unfortunately even if you do reach a real live Linden, they will do nothing for you.

1) search in world under 'people'

2) call the phone number

It seems to depend on whether it's a question they want to answer or not....

I created a ticket asking where my referal bonuses where for referals nearly 3 months ago... No reply

The next day, i created a ticket asking to restart a region, and had a reply within 12 hours...

Make up your own mind from that...

Different group of Lindens handle the inworld issues, like restarts and region down, then handle everything else.

That's because it's all the Concierge team that does the restarts and region downs, even for mainland sims.

The Abuse Report team is a bit more timely than it used to be.. but the regular Billings and other issues are fubar'd and in this case snafu'd.

Look really carefully through all your folders, or search well for them, I recently found some stuff I though I lost 3 months ago, the folder was inside another disused folder, I had given to an alt. And I only have 3000-5000 items on my alts. I don't seem to lose stuff at all ever, I had assumed I accidently deleted it or gave it away, which I have done at times too. Some people with heaps more items seem to have problems, whether it's losing them in all the stuff or just they have a bigger target for bugs to chew on, not sure.

A quick follow up on this...

A managed to get through to LL on the phone a few hours ago, and spoke to a helpful guy.

He told me that the referals are running behind at the moment due to an influx of them. Apparantly they are all credited manually and not an sutomated system. When I explained that I had been waiting 2-3 months, he sorted it out there and then, credit added in workd straight away.

So thanks for the help LL - credit due when it's deserved.

Now, just get a scripter to make it automted for yourselves to make life easier :)
