Definately sell it back to yourself for $0. If your friend buys it for $1, they'll get hit with a tier charge for it, unless they already have spare tier to cover it.
Before you do sell it back to yourself, however - ***make sure*** you temporarily remove your tier contribution to the group, so you don't get stuck with the same problem. Tier is calculated based upon 'Peak' usage, so... If you have a 1024m parcel, and you deeded it to the group...That probably means you automatically 'donated' 1024m of your tier to the group as well when you deeded this land. If you sell this land back to yourself for $0, that 1024m donated to the group wont automatically lift. So the net result is, on paper... you have 1024m donated to a group, and 1024m owned yourself.... meaning a net total of 2048m you now own, at that moment. That means your tier charge will jump up to the 2048 rate, if I'm making any sense. Make sure you exercise great caution, and understand exactly what you're doing when you do all this, or else you could get hit with extra tier fees you didn't intend. Hope this helps! ![]() _____________________

Oh btw if you deeded the land to group when you buy it back from the group make sure you go to land tab in your group and remove the land if it was there in first place.
The thing is if you don't remove the tier donated from the group you could be stuck with other fees, if you forget think you've got more land available then teir. |

Before you do sell it back to yourself, however - ***make sure*** you temporarily remove your tier contribution to the group, so you don't get stuck with the same problem. This is very very important. A helpful feature would be if you purchased group land and you had contributed land towards that group, then you were automatically offered the chance to remove your land contribution from that group. However as that's not in place, remove your contribution first. |
