Help Me Please People

i was woundering if any one could help me out im not sure if any of you use phototshop or not buy i was woundering if any one new how to make things transparent a guy in sl told me to go to what im makeing transparent and clear the back ground and then save as targa.


now maybe this will help you tell me i want to make a nike symbol trans parent he said clear the background around the symbol then save as targa 32 bit i did but once i cleard it it turned pink so does any one no how to help me ..

There are fabulous tutorials and helpful posts about this very subject in the texturing tips forum. It always helps to have a good, solid look around the forums before posting.

What you are looking for is called an "alpha channel".... that is the clearing part.

You might want to peruse the "textures" forum threads. There are quite a few that discuss how to use alpha channels. I also recommend that you do a search in world for Robin Sojourner and look at her picks. Tp over to her shop. Next to it she set up a gazeebo with quite a few tutorials about alpha channels.
