Heya... Just a q.

In the sim that my land is in, there's a strip of Linden protected land. I'm hoping, eventually, to pick up the whole sim (It's mainland). Is there any way that this strip of land would come up for sale?
I'd leave it open, of course (my posts on the many "I want access to your land and if you don't give it to me, you suck" threads are more about the demanding nature of the threads and the insistance that landowners are doing something wrong if they use banlines than they are about my personal use of them {I don't}), but I'd want to purchase it a) so I'm not wasting money, paying for a whole sim and not getting it and b) for the prims. You can never have too many of those little buggers!

So... whatcha think? Would it ever happen, or am I just gon' have to suck it up and eat the extra cost (just to mix metaphors)?

I'd, of course rather get the whole thing, but I'm not bothered too much if I can't.

If the strip of land connects to strips of land in the adjoining sims, then odds are it's supposed to (eventually) become a Linden road. I haven't been around too long, but I've read a lot and I've never heard of the lindens selling 'protected' land. 'maintenance' land they do sell, usually at auction, but not 'protected' land. Hence, the 'protected' part.

Of course I could be wrong, who knows what they'll do tomorrow.

Linden Protected Land is usually either intended to be a road, a river, or an assured means of crossing a sim. Under normal circumstances, it is never sold. You can own all the rest of the land in that sim, but not the "Protected" parts.
