Looking to join a mature group. By mature, I mean manners/ethics. Everywhere I go to meet people, I meet kids. It's surprising to see how many 18 year olds in SL act like 12 year olds.
Who: Dekker Boa, designer
What: Building, Business
Where: Alberta, Canada
When: Born March 23, 2007
Why: Bigger team. More man power.

I'm actually a 3D CGI designer in real life, so I caught onto SL's building tools very quickly. I have experience in low-poly design, so this is perfect. I plan to make items, start with clothing.
So far, I've made 2 rings that are close to the rings I have in RL and have successfully attached them to my fingers with almost perfect alignment. I made my watch last night until the SL simulator shutdown.
I have money, but would like to make money off my sales first before I spend more money. However I can be budged to put some money done, depending on what's laid out on the table. I feel I can make some sales though with my objects.
I'm still reading documentation. I used to be a helper for years in a chat room -- and I know how intense it can be -- newbies everywhere. I realize this, therefore I try not to bother anyone with questions. I plan to read as much documentation I can find before I bother you with questions, and if I have a question -- it's probably going to be something like "where can I find the documentation to learn this?"

Not sure what else to say, or if this is possible.

Why I posted this on the forums? I like to get in touch with people that are savy enough to know forums, and use them, rather newbies.
