Everything was fine, then I got logged out. Mostly getting log in failures now, and when I do make it in, most places I want to tp to are inaccessable resulting in a failed tp and another log out.

I see there's a Rolling Upgrade for tomorrow including adding code for better feedback of failed teleports. Fingers crossed this will address the issue.
Certainly been a lot or sim restarts these past few days. CJ, have you tried selecting different sims to log into?

From: bilbo99 Emu CJ, have you tried selecting different sims to log into? Yep, when I can't get in to my own sim I usually try a mainland sim like Mauve, no joy atm. Colette, I'd guess the rubber bands are still at the experimental stage though they seem to have perfected their use for sim crossings.

From: Cherry Czervik I'm getting the DNS lookup error. When I got that a few weeks back, I just went to an alt for a couple of hours and the main was working again

I sold some group land yesterday. The funds normally get out to group owners in the early hours of the following SF morning. No sign of them yet.
Repeat of last week coming up?? Rubber bands overstretched again?
Up until now, I've always had new land lined up to buy as soon as the money arrived. Today, I'm less inclined to do that. Tomorrow will do for the money, or even the day after - but sometime this week would be nice.

I think the old rubber band just got too old. We should club together and buy them a new one. Can't log in now for over an hour have tried various regions. Usually "Login packet never received by login server". Something of a first for me. Usually I can log in before I crash. mind you I can't even get the login screen to load at the moment either ...
[If it is someone else's rubber band then fair enough. But ... I can still load the SL webpages and forums, so it seems connections can get darn close to the right places. Traceroute stars out points of the route that refuse to give an answer to traceroute packets. It doesn't always mean that point of the chain is down].

From: Cherry Czervik I'm getting the DNS lookup error. Also in the UK and also getting that ... a traceroute to data.agni.lindenlab.com shows something is down somewhere along the way so for once it's a genuine error. Just have to wait till whoever is responsible for the downed server to fix it. .. contacted Concierge support. . all good on their end so it's something inbetween us and them.

Update time! Logged in! Yay! Used Teleport... Got logged out... Boo! Am sure loading the "support" page just when it decided to let me log in was pure coincidence! Heh. Darn... 4:43pm and it's letting me log in and teleport. What am I gonna grumble about now? Oh I know ... how does SL know which two product pictures I'm actually interested in when shopping? And why does it insist on fully loading them after all the other textures in the entire sim?
