Hello, Guys !

When I purchase a Island and pay the price..

LL says that I need to wait 2 week to set my land..

All Right...

1) And the monthly Fee ? Is there any defined day to charge ?

2) When I purchased my Island...Need to wayt 15 days...Ok, the 1st monthly charge is related to 15 or 30 days ? Let me express better: May I'm paying this 15 setup days ? The hourglass starts to count a day when I receive a island or starts after my purchase transaction ?

3) If I screw up my island...such as deforming all...finish the project island and say "Damm ! I don't like ! Wanna start over again !" - Can I ?

Island Setup

I'm no expert, but as far as I understand, your tier starts the day you acquire the island, that is, when the island is transferred to your name. Regarding terraforming, you have whole powers to terraform your island, up to Linden limits in height and depth. There is a REVERT LAND option in the terraforming tools in case you want to start all over again. You can apply this option to a selected parcel or to the entire island. Also, estate owners may have other options that I'm not aware of. You should contact the Island Concierge inworld for more details.

Your first fee is due 30 days after you take delivery of the island. Not from the day you request the island. And yes, you can restore the terrain to it's original state. The terrain is "baked" upon delivery, and you can restore it to its baked condition. You may also bake the terrain yourself, and provide a new base point to which you may revert.

You may find the Island FAQs helpful.

Re. baking the terrain, you can also download the island terrain onto your computer as a backup. The first thing I did when I got my island was to download the file so I had a copy I could refer to if I really wanted. (unfortunately in my case the file got messed up and I lost it...) You can also use RL software to manipulate the terrain file, to do some editing and terraforming that way rather than using the in-world tools. Then you can upload the modified terrain file and see your changes happen all at once.

I'm using a combination of both; RL software to do major changes, and inworld tools to do the finishing touches. And making backups of the terrain before every major change.

I like having the local backups because I actually rebake the terrain inworld before any inworld terraforming. That way, if I don't like how things have turned out with 'todays' changes I can revert to how they were this morning, rather than how they were two weeks ago. But if I need the two-weeks-ago landscape, that's saved on my own computer.

Re. the island maintenance fee, that is always post-billed starting with 30 days after you are notified of the island delivery.

Is there any consideration about with square should I choose on grid ? Or just take any available cuz there is no such difference ?

With kind of server my island will be hosted ? Class 5 ? Class 4 ? Class 3 ?

You will not be able to chose a square that is adjacent to any other island or reservation (this is a good thing). Just select a spot that has some space around it, so that if you want to grow, you have some room. There is nothing guaranteeing your place on the grid will remain uncrowded, but there is no sense in painting yourself into a corner to begin with.

New island purchases are hosted on Class 5 servers.

And when you get to the part where they ask you what island type you want, choose Island 3.

Incidently, I paid for my two new sims early last week, and got them 3 days later!!

The "type of island" isn't anything to do with the class of server you get - it's just the initial layout of land your island starts with. All new islands will be on Class 5 servers now.
