The other day I was visiting a favorite island I go to. It was approximately 3 am est. The Island owned by Qarl Fizz is usually empty at this time and it is a place where I can just be alone and work on scripting. I was feeling pretty melancholy at the disapearance of a dear friend of mine by the name of Mauare Anvil. The island this night was not empty but was inhabited by 3 other avatars. One was from the neighboring island owned by Gus Plisskin was a friend of mine and the other two were as I was to find out were griefers.
Now griefing is not unusual in SL but these offered a new twist to an old profession. These were mind griefers and were in my opinion about the best there is.
It is a terrible thing to stand on someones private property that they have graciously opened to the public without charge and to belittle them with accusations of perverse acts in order to obtain favor and property and then to go on to tell me that my friend is dead was just about as low as anyone could go. They really went after Qarl, Gus, Mauare and a developer by the name of Hank.
Well I won't flame them by putting their names here but as for Gus, Qarl and Mauare all I can say is that you just don't get any better than this in Sl or the real world. I don't know Hank but am sure he too is just an object of their hatred of sucessful people.
Gus Plisskin: Owner of "The Future". A wonderful place full of unreal craftmanship and surrealism.
Qarl Fizz: Owner of "Q". The largest spelunking cave in SL.
Hank: A developer with Electricsheep Company.
MAUARE ANVIL: Scripter, A very gentle person that I miss greatly.
