Some of you will find this funny, but I could use some help.
You know when you're new and the first few days you accumulate a bunch of free stuff? You finally get settled into your new house and figure it's time to weed through all the crap in your inventory. You shut all the blinds and start trying all this stuff out and launching it inside. Deleting what you don't want and organinzing the rest.
Well, I unzipped this thing called "Yellow Star" (I think), and it was the sun. I clicked on that and the entire damn solar system starts buzzing around, half in the house and half out. I grabbed the big items and deleted them. But there's one tiny star that won't let me grab and delete and it moves when I get close to it. I then tried to delete everything from my inventory that was related to that object, even in my trash, and the thing is still circling around my bedroom.
Any ideas on how to delete this damn thing before it drives me crazy?

I have that solar system thing too. Yes, it was very annoying when it all popped out and I had to collect all of the planets. It does have an awesome Earth though. Luckily I was on a sky platform, and it was easier to catch it all. Right click on something on your house and select edit, then left click on the ground and hold down the button, then drag the yellow highlighting selection box over this moving little annoyance. If you can at least highlight it using the edit tools (you might end up highlighting a few things at once/be careful), then you can click on it individually and take it. I would take it just to be safe since it is floating around ur house.

Thanks Faybot for taking the time to answer. I posted this and logged out and got back into SL. By the time I got back in Delion was at the crib and eradicated the problem. He told me exactly what you posted here to solve if it ever happens again.

I love that thing. If it's the same one I have, all you have to do is click on the sun and it scoops the planets up, so you can just delete the sun and you're good to go.

Since Strife locked that Other Gaybot-Faybot Thread before I could add my take on how his unannounced name change happened, let me add it here, one step ahead of Strife (I hope):
My guess is it was a Linden with gender/sexuality issues who zapped your name without teliing anyone, and either they can't figure out who did it or they just want to brush it under the rug and forget the whole thing.
The real issue is not notifying you, so you had to find some other way to get back into SL. What a cowardly turd, if I'm right.
