Hi,
I've not been on in awhile so lots of things have changed and quite frankly I can't remember some things.
Recently, when I went to modify my appearance I noticed that my avitar's eyes were looking of in some weird direction and not straight ahead.
I seem to remember that it used to be where the eyes look straight ahead.
Is it just me or has it changed?
Anyone know how to get the eyes looking straight ahead?
Have a great day,
regards,
wizzie

If you use the alt key+mouse to focus your camera, the eyes look thataway.

The problem I am having is that my avatar's eyes remain fixed once the appearance mode has been entered. No matter where I place the camera the eyes remain fixed in the direction they were looking when I entered the appearance settings. If, when I right-clicked myself and selected appearance I happed to be looking to the left then that's the position the eyes will stay in until I release the appearance controls. Regards, wizzie

Other than zooming in and waiting for the eyes to look straight ahead before right-clicking, I'd noticed that if you drag the edit appearance box over your avatar, it will jump to the other side of the screen. Does that help?

Anyone know how to get the eyes looking straight ahead? I have the same problem, too. Don't know of a better solution than to leave editing mode and zoom in. I want to commend you for not entitling your post "Eyes?????" or something even more annoying and undesciptive.

I think Wizzie meant to say 2004... considering that SL was in Beta test in 2002/2003, they couldn't have been here in 94.

I believe this can sometimes happen if you edit your avatar and it is not pointing directly North, try standing on a pose stand and editing your appearance.

Hi, Here's what I normally look like when I am facing the camera. and here is what I typically see when I am editing the appearance I just can't remember but I seem to remember long ago that the avatar looked straight ahead. What would be nice is if Linden would set up a hot key to go into appearance so you don't have to use the pie-chart selection thing that always makes the avi turn their head. Regards, wizzie Edit: someone else mentioned standing on a pose platform ... that sounds like what we used to do in a game called THERE. I don't know where any pose platforms are .. i suppose I could make one, but it shouldn't be any trouble for Linden to put in an option to center the eyes.
