Need help with box'

Hey yalls...

I got a problem with an item I just bought. The item I got is inside a box, yet I don't know how to open. Some of you might say: "You just need to attach it, drop it, open the box and copy items to your inventory"
Well that's where my problem is. I can attach it, though the only posibilities I got from this point is "Edit" and "distach"... I can't drop the box.

If there's someone who can help me drop the box or at least give me a tip how I can open the box without dropping it, I'd be very happy to hear, since it's a pity to use LD on something ya can't use.

the land ur standing on doesn`t allow object creation/entry

either go to anothe rpiece of land that allows it or do this:

when attached, select and "edit"
go to the content tab and select everything, i`d suggest to make a new folder in inventory first and then drag all the items to the folder in inventory and it will move

Try going to a public sandbox or other place where you are allowed to rez items like a classroom, and drag the box to the ground, then right click and open. You don't need to attach it if it is contained inside a box (sometimes its hard to tell if it is an object to attach or a container to open, so you may have to try both on some things.)

Find land where you can rez (drop) items. Look at the top menu bar. If you see an icon with a box in a red circle with a line through it (international sign for NO) then you can't and find some otehr place.

TIP:: Rolling your mouse pointer of teh icons will show a brief description of what they mean.

Open your inventory and go down to that item. L-Click and drag the itme from your inventory into the world. Think of it as dragging from a paned window to your desktop.

The item will rez where you set it, or you will see a popup window telling you why you can't.

WARNING:: Rezzing (dropping) items in high-lag environments can cause the rez to fail. If the item is NO COPY (detailed to the right of the item name in your inventory list) you may lose that item and LL will NOT replaces it (though some nice mechants will after checking their transactiosn, provided the permissions set on the item allow for such ie they won't replace TRANSFER items).

From there, R-Click on the item and select EDIT fromt eh pie menu. Click the MORE button if you don't see tabs, then click the CONTENTS tab. Click-drag the items from the "box" to your inventory (whichever folder you would like to drop them in).
