Hi,
Does anyone know what "Web Surveyor" is? I have received numerous messages from my security orb today telling me that this person(?), is on my land. I can't log in right now, so I can't search for it. Is it some kind of bot?

Hi,
Yeah, I noticed that after I logged on last night. But that still doesn't explain who/what it is and why it was so insistent on getting into my house. I've added it to my ban list, so I hope that will take care of it.
For anyone who is curious, it was actually "Web Surveryor". Any ideas what it is?

Grace Well, if it's a real 'person' we're not supposed to name names. But I don't see anyone coming to his/her/its defense. It was born before me, last November, with no payment information and a blank profile, so my guess would be some kind of bot? But it's not a new account, so who knows what's up with it. Maybe it has a crush on you?? Speaking of Electric Sheep, you don't have any valuable items set to sale for $0 inside your house, do you?

Nope - as soon as I heard about that Electric Sheep bot I made sure all my items were not set for sale (they were all ok). I assumed it was a bot, but maybe it was just a person with a rather strange name.
What is surprising (and kind of annoying) to me is how many people will try repeatedly to get onto my land even after my security orb ejects them multiple times. How bizarre. The few times I've been ejected by an orb, I just go away - I don't keep banging away at it. This has even happened while I've been logged in. I immediately IM'd the person to ask why they were trying to get into my house, but of course did not receive a reply!

The Electric Sheep bot is named Grid Shepherd.
I would guess an account that keeps slamming into your orb like that is a Bot. Too stupid to know better.

Ya, I saw Web in Livingtree tonight. Watching the mimi map, I'll assume it is a bot, given the flight pattern through the area. Anyone know more?

I've watched people try multiple times to try and get on to my land or in to my home after being booted by the security ORB. I believe the record stands at 8 times now. Thought I was going to have a new record the other day, but he only made it to 6 before he quit.
