group land question

ok i wasnt sure where to put this as it didnt really go in any other forum, so i put it here

anyway, my question is probably simple to some of you:

Can you set one group to own a peice of land and another group to get priviliges on it such as buildign and terrain editing?(note i dont own land so i cant test this)

You can grant specific authority WRT the group-owned land to individual residents, by assigning them to certain defined roles as members of the land-owning group. But granting rights to another group ... that's currently not implemented.

Is this really needed? Land authorisation is already now pretty complex.
