Hi there

I feel I have cocked up something and need help fixing it..

I installed something called “Radar Dagger Ring” I then closed my client and went to be bed and woke up with about 200 Emails from it. I have detached from myself as well as remove the script from my inventory and yet it’s still spamming me.. Is there any way I can reset all my scripts back to default. Or remove the “Rader Dagger Ring” without it being in my inventory?

If you dropped it, then it's still on the ground where you detached it. Had this happen once with an AO HUD, the thing kept affecting me, even though it wasn't attached or in my inventory. I finally found it, took it back into inventory, and that deactivated it.

Go back to various sims that you know you were in about the time when you last recall having had the item. Presumably these are places that you don't own a lot of the things there. Look at the mini-map, and look for a small teal-colored dot. You can click on the mini-map to zoom in with it. Anything you own shows as a teal green spot on the mini-map. I've found items as small as a ring that way. You have to look carefully though. On a normal mini-map an item the size of a 0.5M default cube or smaller shows as a single teal-colored pixel. (Rez a cube and step away from it a bit to see what this color looks like on the mini-map).

Ask the land owners in the above areas to look on their parcel's "About Land" object page, and see if it lists any items that belong to you. Ask them to return the items from that dialog, if they find something you can't account for.

Check the Lost and Found folder in your inventory. Someone may have already returned it to you, if you dropped it on their land.

If you left it on someone else's land, eventually they should notice it's using up some of their prim count, and they will return it to you.

Search for "ring" in your inventory. You may have dragged it to an odd folder by mistake. Or again, it may have been returned since the last time you checked.

It'd be best to get rid of the object, but you could always mute it.

There are scripted objects that can scan for objects that you own.

There might be a libsl client or application that can help you find the source of your messages. You might try posting in the forums at libsecondlife.com.
