Try login to an empty sim. Go to inventory. Then in either all and/or recent files go to [File] -> [Show Filters] and try to set the filter to a couple of days ago. Try in steps of day by day. I cant garantuee it works for everyone, but it helped for a lot of people to recover (a part of) their inventory.

Maybe. There's "lost" inventory (screwed) and there's "hasn't loaded yet" inventory (annoyed but not screwed).

Clear your cache again and relog. When you log in, open your inventory, switch to Recent Items then do File->Reset Filters. Watch the top of the inventory window and you'll be able to see how many items it's pulled from the server.

Not sure what the exact text is but you'll be able to tell when it's done pulling your inventory. Once that happens, switch out of Recent Items, do a File->Reset Filters again and look for your stuff.. Hopefully, it's still there but was just slow to load.

edit: and, like ReFa says, doing this on an empty sim isn't a bad idea. Not bad at all.

ok i too lost half my inventory due to current bugs i would like to know if and when SL sorts it out if i done the above and still not returned will Lindens give our stuff back/compensate us for our losses cos i lost a whole N30 studio and half the furniture in my home so im seriously out of pocket..not funny when worked so hard to earn it..

so my question to any Lindens watching if the above dont sort out lost property cos of this bug will u compensate? (stupid question i know ( but some ones accountable))

The Lindens rarely read, act or respond to anything on these forums. They also to not take any responsibility for lost inventory or items, they do not replace them or compensate anyone for thier losses. The TOS says they are not responsible for any such losses.

I know, that really sucks doesnt it? Sorry for your losses.

Inventory lost

I lost ALL of my inventory about six weeks ago, it was a disaster. A friend forced me (I am quite stubborn) to go to a quiet SIM and do the log off/on thing. After the 6th or so try, everything magically appeared. I have heard that underwater SIMS are good places to go to do this.
