Hi :)

I've asked this cry for help in the Technical Issues section, but as yet I have had no replies, so I thought I'll try here :)

I don't know whether it's coincidence, but since our last downtime last wednesday I am having problems watching Movies etc in SL.
They either stop after 30 seconds and I have to press resume to continue time after time or they just loop back each segment. Also I'm now getting occasionally the odd small purple and red smears on the screen.

I know it isn't lag within my sim as it's a brand new class 5 sim less than a week old and I am not suffering from packet loss either.
I know it isn't my media center as others are able to watch it with no problems.

My Computer stats are:

From: someone
Running Quicktime 7.1.3
CPU: AMD (1670 Mhz)
Memory: 1024 MB
OS Version: Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Graphics Card: GeForce FX 5200/AGP/SSE/3DNOW!
OpenGL Version: 2.0.3
LLMozLib Version: 1.1.0 (Mozilla GRE:1.8.0.9_0000000000)
Packets Lost: 8/16161 (0.0%)

I've always been able to watch Movies etc without any problems until now.

Pulling my hair out trying to work out why it's just starting now all of a sudden.

Pleeeeeeeeeeease can anyone out there help me

In all frankness, you should consider yourself lucky that you were ever able to view streaming video; most players I know who tried failed to see anything or crashed shortly after starting.

To the best of my knowledge, the Quicktime integration was done by a summer intern and worked poorly and rarely. Whether this was attributable to Quicktime or LL, I have no idea. I'm pretty sure that there is no LL developer active on ensuring that it continues to work.
