Laguna Nude Beach

I'm a regular there but for the past week I've been very disappointed with the performence of SL there. It as never been the best performance which I put down to it being popular. About a week ago new features arrived etc. and performance went downward, regulars no longer there, beach guards gone.
Can you suggest a place (s) I too could move onto, I'm missing the regulars and good chats I had.

Is this the neocons answer to all problems?
If you read your bible with clothing came all sorts of problems.

is Laguna the island sim with its avatar limit set to 100+, and where locals consider 80 present avatars a 'quiet day'?

Oh I used to go to Laguna (the other bit, not the nude part ) but it often became a nightmare when it was busy. Put some clothes on and come down to Dragon Moon instead. It can be v quiet, but the sim is lovely and I've met some really cool people there.

When I first started SL I checked some of the nude sims, but quickly gave up on them finding the experience rather frustrating.

Typically these areas will either be totally empty, overcrowded with almost everyone clothed, or taking up only a small portion of the total sim with much of the area "protected" by obnoxious security walls.

There are some sims where nudity is acceptable, if not widely practiced. However it sometimes feels very peculiar being naked in a group of 4-5 people, everyone else clothed.

Well running around naked in sl does not do a lot for me. It does make one a target with every nOOb wearing a freebie penis. They assume being naked equals wanting to have sex with everone in the sim. Running around naked in RL is a lot better and besides you can not feel the warm sun in sl. Though Club Med has gone "family" and think the clothing optional areas are gone.

I have been to Laguna nude beach in the past but it is just so busy and confused.

If you want a nude experience, try Skinny Dip Inn, where you are encouraged to be bare and most guests are. It is not too busy and I've found that one can be naked without being pestered by people who assume you want sex!

Also Terra's Nude Heaven is quite a pleasant small venue.

I must add that I spend most of my time in SL with my clothes on!!!


The same is true for most experiences in SL - you can't taste the food, you can't smell the polish on the floor, you can't feel the endorphines from endless dancing, you can't feel the wind in your hair when you're driving an open car......... you just have to imagine these things!

I go to Laguna all the time, and no...the regulars aren't usually nude. It's true that many of the regular folk have moved on. But now the lag is lots less. And the dance floor has been revamped. Also you may find many of us at Solana Beach. The guards like Sunny, Butterfly and CB are there. Trent is still at Laguna.

Well for today and yesturday most people were grey and my hair never arrived on my head. Also at the end of my time there I could not put my "street clothes" on top of my swim suit.
Allthough I saw my self in colour, others said I was grey.

I do not call this an improvement and it is the getting worse I referred to and the reason I ask for suggestions for a new location for me of a similar nature.

A nude beach in SL? So...do you go nude at the computer or is it just your av not wearing clothes?

If it was nude at the computer then I'd be all about it. I'm a nudist trapped in a "don't want to hurt feet on rocks" body.
