It keeps upping the time, over and over and over. And I was fixing to shop too. Way to go.

I've come to the realization that when you get the message: "Your Account Will Not Be Available Until X:XX Time", that it is best to just log out and stay away for a while. The system is lagging, and it is trying to update changes you have made to your avatar. Either that or the system is going down soon so the Lindens can fix it.

I find that when you get that "Your Account Will Not Be Available" message its best to close SL and wait a few minutes. I never have to completely shut down my computer, and I'm usually back in within 5 or 10 minutes.

But seriously, I've had this message before too. It says you wont be able to log in until such a time, but it lies. I've found that if I leave it for a little while I can get back, don't have to wait for the time it tells you.
I think LL do this to make room for campers, LL fecking love campers. The likes of thee and me are a towards to bottom of LL's list of priorities these days:
Campers
Mainland casino owners
Naked noobs
Unverified squeaky voice teeny griefers
Block headed,spikey blue haird noobs with xcite cocks and poor grammar
you (shoppers) and me (business owners)
...and bottom of the list...

The one time this happened to me it didn't help to shut down and go away. What helped was clearing my cache and logging back in.
I think the cache gets corrupted and the info still in your cache cause you to be unable to log in.
My guess...and my fix.

That's actually a much more patient and friendly solution than the one I usually employ. (I tend to hammer the login server with connection requests until it decides I'm serious and lets me on. Usually, I can get on in three tries, despite the "Not Available" message.) Kam

When I was finally able to get back on, there were tons of ghosts standing around. I'll bet you anything every single one of those were people getting the "system is logging you out" message while they stood around like zombies in SL.

It happens a lot on weekends especially. Best to just get used to it  I admit frustration from time to time too, but it's just not worth tearing your prim hair out over.

As someone already mentioned- you can usually get on within 3 tries upon getting this message. if you can not it means your avi is stuck on the sim and the sim needs to be restarted to knock your avi off....If not I think you have to wait quite awhile until the system decides to take you off. |
