Blocked Waterway

The new Shelter over in Swinside sim had a lakeside party last night and we thought it would be fun to dig out the Jetskis and sailboats and head out onto the large lake that borders on Swinside, Lingmell and Withburn sims. Well, come to find out, when trying to sail down the waterway leading to the lake, the next door neighbor has locked down the waterway to where you cannot get into the lake. Not to mention how rude this is, but I was under the impression that all transiting waterways were protected land held by Gov Linden, and were unable to cause this kind of blockage.. This does not seem to be the case here... What gives?? In case a Linden wants to check this out, its at Swinside 196,11,3

Did you try to contact the owner? I would try to get them to remove it first-- failing that, post to the land maintenance forum and I'm pretty sure they would remove it.

No, I hadn't.. Will be over in the area this afternoon and I'll try IM'ing the owner.. If no joy there, I should try the land maintaince forum???

We decided to create free-passage areas in our waterways but did so on our own without Linden requests. It is a hassle to parcel the waterways but it promotes better relations within the entire community. My 2 Lindens
