Lost groups

i created 3 groups for my gdr.
there was only me inside.
i lost them
i cannot find them anymore in my groups, and cannot find them in the
search -> groups.
if i try to create them it says they are allready.
help.

I think you need two people in your group to keep it alive, thats why a second account/Alt comes in handy.

Morwen. I got a group of three ... you better join too then Morwen  .. but yes, a group of one will be deleted by Linden. They say so in the Knowledge Base. Hence, vital if you are going to have group land to have a second account of your own so you can't 'lose' the land!

I once disolved a group intentionally - everyone else was out, my alt left and it was just me. After two days I received an email from SL warning me that the group was going to be deleted if I didn't get any one else to join. Another two days after that, the group was gone.
How come nobody else seems to get these email warnings of impending group deletion? Or do people just ignore emails from LL?

2) if i try to remake the groups , it says that they exists allready.

very bad... Yes, I'm afraid so. Group names like avatar names, once selected, can never be used again

i visited help island..
i asked everybody.
and they all say that it can be a bug or not.. who knows.
so...

I'm not sure why you need 'help,' since your question has already been answered correctly here. You have to have at least two people in a group or it will be disbanded and, once it is, there is no way to get it back or start a new one with the same name. Can't find the perfect group for you? Create your own and bring your friends into it! Creating a group is simple to do. Keep in mind, though:
* Group creation costs L$100.
* A group must maintain at least 2 members.
* Any group that has less than 2 people for 48 hours will be disbanded. From: someone My group was disbanded; can I get it back?
Unfortunately, our policy is not to resurrect groups that have been disbanded.
This is because it's a relatively labor-intensive process for us, and if we decided to start doing it, we'd be too busy fulfilling requests to revive disbanded groups to do the other things we'd like to -- such as answering support tickets, fixing bugs, creating new features, and generally making your Second Life experience as excellent as possible. From: someone I started a group that was disbanded, so I tried to start another one with the same name, and I can't.
For technical reasons, it's not possible to have two groups with the same name, even if one of them isn't active. You'll have to pick a new name for your group (try substituting numbers for alphabetical characters in time-honored 1337 tradition).
