Are land flippers actually a good thing?

I had land that was basically useless due to a large scale camp site moving into the sim taking up all the av slots. Days would go by where I couldn't get to my land, and even when I could I couldn't build on it due to objects snapping around randomly (no doubt due to all the bling the campers seem to need even when they're doing nothing). So I figured I'd try and sell it but had resigned myself to not finding a buyer for a reasonable price due to the sim being basically useless. Rather than selling at a loss I figured I'd just undercut the current lowest land price by the price of a cheeseburger, which is still considerably higher than I paid for it. Within seconds of pressing the confirm button for my sale 3 flippers descend on the place and rather than risk losing out on 0.99€ of potential profit they clearly fight to be the one to buy it. They were so busy clambering over each other to be the first to buy it no-one bothered to check the sim stats or the neighbourhood. In the end it means I made over L$1000 on land that I had completely given up hope on. Thank you flippers you've made my day, you are saviours to owners of crappy land everywhere!

Anyone else had similar experiences?

Ah, but watch it get relabelled to "Flat green land, no covenant, lag free sim!" :p

A piece of land near my home was recently for sale for at least a month. I was actually considering buying it, despite it being over priced, when a flipper moved in. It's now been on sale for at least 2 weeks and has dropped nearly 60,000 in price. Another 20k or so and I'll snap it up.
Presumably the buy was a result of a temporary shift in land prices, or a major screw up by a bot or RL person.

Once you get up on land, it's best for the flippers to evolve into legs.

Possibly when the price drops enough a landbot will get it.
