So, for about 3 months now I have been having issues with actually paying Linden Lab. It started in April when my bank card refused to pay to Linden Lab. I asked for an explaination, and got the run around. So...I changed banks (I get enough running around as it is with Linden Lab) and besides, I was fixing to move. I tried that one, and that one refused to pay as well...I was like, WTF!!...
To alleviate all that, I set up a Paypal account, and did the usual billing agreement thing with them...all was fine until a month later, when it seems that Paypal refused to pay to Linden Lab as well. I called about it, to Linden Lab as well as Paypay..seems I was over my limit to pay out.
I own a sim and some mainland..I pay land fees as well as the private island fee. The limit for Paypal is $500USD in a 30 day period. And the way they stagger my private island payment and my land tier payment, well, somehow it went over the limit. This has force me to upgrade my Paypal account to a business account...expensive to say the least.

In any case, finally found out what the problem is with the credit/debit cards. Seems Linden Lab outsourced thier credit card verification companies without verifying compatibility with US banking systems. The US banking systems use a 3 digit security code printed on the back of the debit/credit cards. Without those code, no bank will process any payment with Linden Lab. This is a serious issue for US customers. Most premium residents use credit cards to make payments to LL for buying lindens, paying thier premium accounts and land tiers. Many, like myself, have a lot invested in SL, and to risk losing it over an issue such as this, is inexcusable.

So, therefore, I created a JIRA issue for this one particular issue.
