Help! I cant play SL because the viewer crashes after i hit "Log in"... it crashes right about when it says "Initializing quicktime" ... any ideas? (and dont say update quicktime because ive done that a million times  ) Also I installed the optional viewer and it -still- crashes ... Help! |

I was jsut at a comunity type meet and greet with Robin Linden. I had experienced 4 crashouts within about an hour. concurrent residents showed at 26.5K, sh elooked into it and they are showing a higher number then usual amount of crashouts and it is being investigated

Wow, sorry to hear you can't even log in. I was wondering. Are you using the client version 1.13.2 (11) or 1.13.2 (12) ?? I had major problems with version 1.13.2 (11) It was completely locking up the program itself evey few seconds. Once I upgraded to the optional viewer 1.13.2 (12) my problems stopped.
Have you tried pressing the preferences button before pushing log on and clearing ur cache and restarting the program? If that doesn't work you might want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the program. I'm not sure about the Quicktime issue. Can you disable Quicktime and then try logging in?
If you still can't get in world I will contact Help Request on your behalf and possibly fill out a bug report for you. I'll check back here later. =)
