I'd like for my neighbours automated 'Greeting' and "Lucky Chair" messages (green in the chat window) NOT to be seen on my parcel. Is there any way to do this (without having to ask all visitors to mute the objects ;-p )
thx!

Any way to block neighbour's object messages from being seen on my parcel? |

You could ask them to check that they're restricting spatialized sounds to thier parcel. Outside of that...no clue.

Open your chat history and you'll see a "mute" button.
There is a drop down list of objects that are placing text into your chat history window. Select the object and mute it. Hope that helps... |

There is no way to restrict object or avatar chat at parcel borders, other than banning a resident. I'm not sure if it works for the resident's objects, too, but you can try to ban the owner and see if that helps.

omg! please ACTUALLY READ my post!!! I'm pretty certain Falcon did read your post, as I did also. IF you open your chat history you should see a drop down list of people AND OBJECTS. Mute the object? |

Ask your neighbour to move the items away from your parcel border? They might not have realised that the text is leaking out of their parcel.
These things usually happen due to oversight, rather than malice. |

Thanks for the info, Dragon Queen.
And it's probably a good idea to ask politely first, and let the resident know the reason for the ban if they do not move the object. BTW, you could also ask to change the object to use a whisper rather than normal chat. |
