Just wondering what other's experiences are. I miss the days of GOM's usually same-day PayPal payments.

Same-day payments or same-day transfers?
I've never had any problems with immediate payment using PayPal, but it takes 3-4 days to transfer funds from my bank-based checking account to my PayPal account, which is a major bummer.
I'm no banker, so I can't explain why an ELECTRONIC transfer shoud take longer than a few minutes. If the funds are in my account, an electronic query should know that immediately and provide funds.

The last withdrawl of L$ funds that I made from SL took 8 days, to get from my L$ Balance in-world, to my PayPal account. The time before that was ten days, and included one holiday. And I have a Verified PayPal account!
Fascinating how they can take money INTO SL in a heartbeat, but getting it OUT is like pulling teeth!

I usually cash out a couple of times a week. Since around mid-November (maybe earlier?), transfers have been taking the full 5 working days. I guess they're milking it for interest. (Hmm... when did the new finance guy take over?)
Though, to give LL their due, they've never exceded the advertised 5 working day period for me. I'd be interested to hear if Ceera is including weekends in her sums (Saturdays + Sundays don't count as working days).
