Paypal payment info NOT used? I wanted to get verified as "payment info used", so I took another player's advice (someone posted that if you bought some Linden Dollars off of LindeX with a verified (mine is) Paypal account, that my status would change to "payment info used"  , however, it's just stayed at "payment info on file". Is this normal? Do I have to buy Linden Dollars with a credit card to get the "payment info used" tag, or do I have to buy land, and if so would buying it with Paypal work? Signed, Confused Player |

PayPal transactions have been taking forever from all reports I've heard of those that use it. Getting the L$ happens quickly, but such as selling L$ can take over a week to process. It may be that LL will take that long to actually recognise your account should be upgraded.
I'd still send an e-mail off to Support. Might not do anything there, but that would be the offical course of action.

Based on a reply to an old Linden Answers post that i read months ago, apparently there is a delay sometimes of several days before the purchase of L$ triggers a switch in your status from "Payment info on file" to "Payment Info Used". If it persists more than 3 or 4 days, contact support.

Thank you both.  To clarify, I used my verified Paypal account to buy L$ from LindeX a couple of months back. Just so I know I am understanding you correctly, especially Ceera - my account should currently say "payment info used"? |

If it has been a couple of months since you purchased L$ on Lindex, then contact SL support and have them look into why your account does not indicate you've bought anything from LL. Because it should, by now. The good news is that most people treat "Payment info on file" and "Payment Info Used" as equally welcome, and only discriminate against or exclude unverified accounts, IE: "No payment info on file".
