Ok....Houston, we have a problem. I was in world earlier, about 2 hours ago...and couldn't interact with any items....no door opening...no AO menu clicking. I could right click and edit...but no interaction. So...I relog......interaction is back....but now I can't 'wear' anything from my inventory...I can take off or detach....but I can't attach or wear any clothing layers. LOL This is getting annoying...and creepy. So....I clear cache and relog 15 minutes later...... Now I can't even get out of green blob stage and textures wont load in search windows at all. (was hoping if I tp'd away and came back, it would resolve) But I wasn't going to tp my nekkid bald self into a town square! So, after 15 minutes of my AV never loading...I just logged. So... thoughts? Are we just having a really bad day? My lag meter showed everything in green=good..... so is my SL corrupt maybe? Or perhaps is it a ghosting and I just may not be fully logged out from this afternoon? I'm hoping I can wait it out...but if you guys think it's a sure sign of gloom and doom for my program....I'll un-install and reinstall toot sweet!   |

When you right-click and edit, does the object name and such get filled in or is it blank? If it's blank, you're being tortured by SVC-3895.
If it's not blank, my first guess would be to power cycle all your kit, especially your router. Even if it's not wireless, these things can go all weird on you every now-and-then.
edit: /me assumes you tried logging into different regions already. If not, that'd be my real first guess.

when you can't interact with anything, or even move consistently check the minimap window, if it's cast in red that means the server has most likely disconnected you... sometimes it'll go back to normal after about 20sec, but usually it means you're disconnected...
the problems with not being able to attach, could be region lag, or could be your connection has gone to pot...

Oh goodie.... Well...it's not a matter of a log-out since I was easily able to move and do other stuff, just not specified stuff...and then it altered to different things the next time. I'm thinking this is more router/ISP as suggested..... who knows....maybe need to unplug it all and re-start. Joy. |
