Recently, I've been having problems logging in.
Everything works fine until it gets to 'connecting to region', then it just freezes and won't log me in at all.
Any ideas as to what may be causing this problem?

Okay, did you do the whole, "Clear cache and login?"
Have you tried logging into another region/sim?
Have you tried rebooting your router/modem/whatever connects you to the internet?
I've found that usually one of these three things helps. IF that fails, uninstall and reinstall the game. Make SURE to delete all folders by hand, wherever they may be hidden!
