I have several parcels of land I'm selling, however nobody will by them because when you try to walk across the plot you run into invisible "walls". I've tried everything to get rid of them but I can't even find them. In "edit" mode I've even drug my cursor across the entire screen and nothing highlights (except the "for sale" sign). I've eliminated the ground and looked for hidden objects but there's nothing there. When I go in "about land" to the "objects" tab it shows 36 objects that are "selected/sat upon" with no way to delete them. I have no idea what they are since I can't see them. I really hope someone can help me with this because the "help portal" is completely worthless. 2 hours waiting for chat help and nothing and there's nothing about it in the , socalled,"knowledge base". Plus they no longer take phone calls! I'm convinced they are getting worse instead of better. So Sad!
Advise Appreciated, ShastaBert

Transparent prims overlapping from a neighbouring parcel maybe? Did you try highlighting transparent? (Ctrl+Alt+T)

It's stuff stuck at 0,0,0.. I can see a bunch of stuff down there, including a "garden river 2" object owned by ShastaBert. You probably tried to rez that object and got an error.
You should do a support ticket and ask them to clean up the objects stuck at location 0,0,0 on Savelli.

Ask for a region restart. Should solve this problem. I had this problem with ghost objects 3 times already the last 10 days and restarts fixed it each time.

I have yet to see a region restart fix this problem, but it's probably easier than getting a Linden to return the objects. Let us know if a restart fixes it, ShastaBert? edit: or just tell us when the mystery wall showed up. If it was before Wednesday, I think it's safe to say a restart won't fix the problem.

I didn't see the post where you said the location of the sim. I have spent at least 15 minutes trying to figure out why Sindy could see them at 0 0 0 Diefenbaker and I can't.

I had the same problem, Reported a Bug and asked for a Region Restart. Problem solved. Then there's more than one flavor to this problem. My home sim has had mystery bumps and stuff stuck at 0,0,0 for 6+ months.. It's been through many, many restarts but the problem's still there.

It's been through many, many restarts but the problem's still there. It's probably the invisible, non-existing prim bug. That's another that been rabidly growing. In your case, yeah, a Linden really does need to come clean it out. And in the OP's case, the restart will get rid of the non-existing prim, but he'll probably need a Linden to come out for the other issue.

Hm.. Looks like I may be full of it. Hardly surprising.. We've had mystery bumps on my home sim for ages - Frontier came by and removed the objects and restarted the sim but the bumps are still there..

YEA....I don't know how you people know what you know but I'm grateful for it. Reported it, they restarted the sim and the problem is solved. 61 invisible objects disappeared.....poof! They said it's a known issue. If it's so known why didn't they just tell me that in the 2 hours I spent the day before!?!?
Thanks to all, ShastaBert

From: ShastaBert McMahon They said it's a known issue. If it's so known why didn't they just tell me that in the 2 hours I spent the day before!?!? It seems some Linden support staff know about it more than others. I own the 0,0,0 spot in Salerio, and see other people's stuff show up there. Ours is the kind fixed by restarting the region, and the first time I had a Linden come out to fix it he said that the 0,0,0 bug hadn't been seen in a long time. I found out about it by reading these forums, and have seen maybe 4-5 new threads on it every week -- missing prims, invisible prims, ghost prims, some number of prims "selected/sat upon". I believe it's still an open issue in JIRA, and yet the support guy thought it had been eliminated back in 2006!

Here is the relevant JIRA issue. Although the title specifies copyable objects, the entry has been merged to include the same problem with no-copy objects. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-242Anyone affected by this should vote on it so LL makes fixing the bug a higher priority.
