I rented a cute litte cottage and began decorating. Everything was going well unilt all of a sudden, I was getting messages that said I couldn't put furniture or decorations in the house b/c I didn't have land permission. Whats up with this? Thanks!

You may need to join a group if you have not already  IM your landlord or landlady and hopefully that will fix it for you |

You need to have permission from the owner of the land to rezz items on the land, otherwise he or she would be knee deep in prim litter, and also people who hadnt paid the rental box would be living in the cottages for free.
Read the policy document that came with the rental box. They usually give a notecard when you right click on them. You need to contact the owner, and ask to be put on the group for the rentals. You will then have to wear that group tag in order to rezz your items.
This is for your own protection, as much as the owner.

THAT is probably what happened. I started and left and joined a group while I was gone and probably need to put my tag back on! Thanks!!!!

yep, when u join a new group, that group becomes the active 1 by default  |
