Track Camera, Why does it ask

I have a scripted HUD that has a few scripts in it that tracks the camera rotation of the wearer. I'm not Sure why it has to ask to track it. Sensors don't have to ask to Track your position so why does a task that you wear have to ask to track your camera. Just find this very odd. And find it very annoying everytime I log on or attach the HUD they have to ask again. So is there any plan to get rid of this. A script does not ask to take control of your inputs or animantion when worn so why can't this be auto accept when worn like the other few?

Some script features are more invasive then others. Tracking where someone is looking was deemed invasive and not set to auto-grant upon request (there are a number of permissions requests in LSL that are auto-granted in specific situations).

I'll write up a feature suggestion on this.

I hope you don't mind me jumping in on this thread?
I've read mentions of people witnessing others 'looking'. In view of the remote camera, cntrl-alt, how do people detect this? I get the impression they see something that gives the peeping tom away?
An inverse occurence happened a couple of nights ago when I was touring a mall and just as I got close to two rather beautiful ladies my fiancee icq-ed me. After I'd answered her, one of these ladies was getting rather irate with me standing silently in front of her.
I apologised and moved away just for the record.

The SL client knows where everyone's looking so it can turn people's heads to look at them. There's an option in the menus to display a "beacon" for this, so you see a set of crosshairs on any point anyone's focussed on.

I think this is a bug. If the task is in the root prim and worn which tries to get camera info it is automatically granted. If it is in the child prim it asks and is not automatic. The bug being not auto grant permission if it in a root prim and worn for Track Camera. Same goes with Control Camera
