Thanks To The Clothing Designers

I just wanted to extend a thank you to the clothing designers who regularly post pictures of their new creations in here. I for one, love being able to "window shop" here, rather then getting stuck in lag hell, in-world. It makes it so much nicer when I see something that I must have, to just go and get it rather then deal with the messes that SL has created for us.

I've given up shopping on SL Exchange and SL Boutique because the category searches are a piece of crap. It's impossible to filter down to a subset like Fashion > Male > Shoes. Instead you get every item in the entire catalog that has any of the keywords, which ends up with the strangest items included in the results.

Also, too many designers flood the catalog with a gazillion color combinations of the same basic item, which means pages and pages of repetition. I've learned not to even try to look for skins because there are literally hundreds of entries on the same skin, just with different eye/mouth makeup combinations.

I've found it's quicker to TP to a store than to sort through a hundred pages of dubious search hits.

Beebo, SLX lets you get down to subcategories. Apparel --> Men's---> Men's Footwear. You can also use the advanced search panel on the right-hand side in each category to search just in that category.

As for repetition of color ... well, I feel you there. I wish there was a way to link all the colors of an item up and make searching them faster and easier. Kind of a pain to have to go through 20 different colors of a blouse, I know.
