I can no longer change or reset my pop up options or access certain features I use to like lsl liabary, help, and other browser pop up windows. Nor can I can I enable the pop up windows in preferences.
Can someone advise me what to do? I don't see any fixes for this in faq.

Have you tried re-installing SL, and if that doesn't work, uninstalling and then re-installing SL?

Hmm I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for answering.
Perhaps this dumb question but there are some games that when you uninstall you literally lose everything so this is why I am asking if the same happens here.
What happens to my inventory though if I uninstall everything and reinstall? Just curious if it disapears.

Just re-installing won't make you lose your inventory. Sometimes it fixes things.
Uninstalling and re-installing will cause your preferences to revert to default. You'll get the beginner's help messages again. This might be annoying but such is life.
Neither will make your inventory go away.

Check your Windows options

The newest version of IE, IE7, has a slew of new features and popup blocker is one of them. Make sure it isn't interfering with the popups in SL.

Yeah I have the newest IE browser this may be causing issues too.
I have noticed since the update things are very slow whenever I use it.
Thanks I will try to see if I can fix settings there too.
P.S. It took me a month and several uninstalls and reinstalls but I figure out it was simple thing that my Internet Explorer need to be default browser.
