Ok, can anyone say how to join two parcels of land together? OR if I own both, can I use the total prims for both parcels on the one or does it have to be that much per parcel no matter if I own both? thanks

You can use prim allotment from both parcels on one parcel,
to join the parcels click on land, from the pie menu selected edit land
then you should get a new window open

click on land and again drag your mouse over the parcel borders you should see a yellow box being draged across the land, then hit join in the blue window that opened and the parcels should join

hope that helps

once the parcels are joined you can use the total allowed prim count (assuming both parcels are in the same sim of course).

The parcels don't have to be joined to share the prims if they are in the same sim and owned by the same person or group.
