Is anyone else getting this error..i relogged after being in SL for a couple hours now all i get is this error..

I sent an email to support but i have no idea when they will respond..
i figured i would see if anyone is getting this message also..

Shut down your computer and restart. The only time I get that message is when I am somewhere with restricted access like a library.

Yes. I just was getting this message and it cleared itself up after about 20-30 minutes. I don't get this message often, but when I do, it clears up in about the same amount of time. Just hang in there. Relogging, reloading, reinstalling, rebooting....nothing seemed to help. I'm sure it will clear up for you too soon. I crashed really hard just before it happened to me today. I was running around in a weapons store and ran into a gypsy wagon while screaming...I guess that's what I get, lol.

I have the same issue. With me it's the 'Region handshake' nightmare. Was fine 'till I looged out 3 hours ago and when I tried to re-log that's all I get

Restarting sometimes works wonders. Or just walking away from the computer for a bit to cool off.

Off topic, but I have to know:
Robot - are you Gaybot/Faybot with a new name?? Could it be the gods of SL have smiled upon you??

Yah, my favorite Linden so far, Teeple, followed through on the offer they gave me to change my first name to whatever I wanted.

Wooohooo! Congratulations, Robot! It's great to see something work out the way it should around here. :)

Dingthat - when you log in, try changing the region on the log in screen to someplace other than where you were trying to log in before. That might help with the Region Handshake error.

I agree Livinda .. seemed utterly silly changing it .. not as though it was discriminatory or anything .. wasn't pro or anti .. crazy

To say "Gaybot" and to mean it sexually is to assert that bots or machines have well defined sexuallity and complex relationships within robots of same sex. But since this is not the case (as far as I know Asimov does not even have a manhood), It's probably better to assume the word "Gay" in that instance meant happiness vs homosexuality. Takes a Linden to assert it otherwise, but OTOH they might have already achieved technoligical singularity.

yes after about 30 minutes or so it cleared up..i even did an uninstall and reinstall and still got the error i restarted and even rebooted the whole system a few times..so i guess it's just waiting until it passes..i was more worried that i may have been banned for something i didn't do more than anything..

Has anyone attributed this error to the server not having registered the previous logout or is that error only the 'you cannot login until umpteen past thingy' message?

If I remember correctly, the remedy for that is either login as an alt and IM your main .. or ask a RL buddy to go in and get the land owner to eject you?
