Could someone come up with a QuickGuide to the new JIRA? I'll give you a copy of all my Starax sculptures.
As a member of the tech-illiterati, I find the JIRA impenetrable. I started slogging through the FAQs/User guide, but my eyes melted midway through the "Issue States" section and splattered all over my keyboard.
(And what is a JIRA anyway? Just Ignore Resident Answers?)

What specifically aren't you understanding about it?
It's a list of bugs and issues, showing their priority and current status to resolution.

I'm with you Rocky! I tried to post something and it didn't really make much sense.

I used it, once I figured out how to find it. Seems a little convoluted. You open the thing up and its just this endless sheet of stuff. Maybe needs an instruction manual or something to make it more user friendly. The old voting system was a peice of cake to navigate, and was easier on the eyes.

I'm with you folks! JIRA is incomprehensible to me. I 'get' that its just a list of bugs, but everytime I try to use it, I spend 30 minutes looking for the way into 'just the list of bugs'. I was really appalled to see one suggestion that I spend $60 for a JIRA client! I mean, What's THAT all about? Most of us are NOT professional programmers.. We don't know the toolset you use. If my doctor shoved a PDR into my hands when I went in for a headache, I'd be pretty darn angry. And angrier if he billed me for the book! Can we just get a Comix Illustrated Wiki article on how to do basic JIRA stuff? How do we log in? How do we find out if our problem is a 'known bug'? How do we add our comments to known issues? How do we ADD a new bug? How do we do feature voting? (is that in there? I don't have the patience to look.) What did I miss?
