Hi,

I have a problem with one of my neighbors. He place trees on the border of his place.
The root of the tree is on his land but the tree is in my half in my house.
I have IM him and asked him to move the trees but he didn't responce.

because the root is on his land i can't delete/move it.
I can ask Linden to delete it but is there a way i can send it back to his invertory.

Thanks

I see this more and more... People just LOVE to get as close to the boarders as they can... Don't ya just love that! Well a couple of things you can do...

1.) Set it on fire
2.) Put up something right on your boarder facing them that is huge and ugly to make a point.
3.) Set it on fire again

But...but... won't he burn his own house down? It doesn't rain in SL, so the risk of wildfires is quite high!

OP- before they do away with Live Help, you could try to get a Linden out to move the tree. Go to Help>Help Request. You might have to wait a little while, as the Lindens are very busy putting out fires around the grid most of the time.

it looks like i can't move or delete the trees without help from

Bummer i hoped there was another way to do this.

I think there are fire effects in the Library; if not, there certainly are freebies available. Make one really huge fire and put it on his tree, only make sure the prim is centered over your land so he can't delete it.

See if you can track down Guy Linden. He used to be the tree removal specialist. Sigh, I miss the land maintenance forum....

I think there is a proposal on JIRA to allow landowners to delete overhanging prims. You could vote for it?

make a beam (cube stretched out on 1 side to 10m), rotate it 45 degrees and move the center in the ground

as it`s at a 45 degree angle, it will be underground for u and abouve ground for him and u can put a nice msg at the end
would do this only after u know that he has been online and seen ur im or u might start a prim fight, if it ends with that, just pull out the 20x20x0.5 huge prims and he`ll get the msg
